Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CahtChat ("the App"), operated by CAHT Ecosystem ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use CahtChat. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or the App's systems
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the App without our consent
- Distribute spam, chain letters, or unsolicited promotional content
5. Digital Assets & Transactions
CahtChat integrates with Web4 wallets and supports cryptocurrency transactions including tips, payments, and gated content purchases. You acknowledge that:
- Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible and we cannot recover lost funds
- You are solely responsible for securing your wallet and private keys
- A platform fee may be applied to transactions as disclosed at the time of the transaction
- Gas fees incurred when claiming community pool rewards are the responsibility of the claimant
- We do not provide financial, investment, or tax advice
- The value of digital assets is volatile and may fluctuate significantly
5a. Credit Purchases & No-Refund Policy
All credit purchases on CahtChat are final and non-refundable. By purchasing credits, you acknowledge and agree that:
- All credit purchases are final. Once a transaction is confirmed on-chain, no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be issued under any circumstances
- Credits are a prepaid digital utility token used exclusively within CahtChat and have no cash value outside the platform
- Unused credits remain in your account indefinitely — they never expire
- Task credit reservations (escrow) may be refunded to your credit balance if a task fails, but this does not constitute a cash refund
- You are responsible for selecting the correct credit pack and confirming the transaction amount before payment
- We are not liable for any loss arising from incorrect wallet addresses, failed transactions, or network issues
6. Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you create and share on CahtChat. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
Gated (premium) content remains your intellectual property. We facilitate the distribution and payment processing but do not claim ownership.
7. AI Features (Cora)
CahtChat includes an AI assistant ("Cora") that provides information and assistance. You acknowledge that:
- AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate
- AI-generated content should not be considered financial, legal, or professional advice
- Voice conversations with Cora are processed in real time and are not stored
- You should not share sensitive personal information during AI interactions
8. Channels & Communities
Channel owners and administrators are responsible for moderating their channels. We reserve the right to remove channels or content that violates these terms. Channel verification is a paid service and does not constitute endorsement by CAHT Ecosystem.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAHT ECOSYSTEM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DIGITAL ASSETS, DATA, OR PROFITS.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of CahtChat after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
